We stayed for a three day weekend with two families – four adults and four children, there was plenty of space for all.
The Cottage was very clean and extremely well equipped. It is child friendly with plenty of activities from volleyball to board games. The scenery is stunning and the veranda (with water views) is the perfect place to relax and wind down. I’d highly recommend a visit to Singleton’s Retreat.
A big thankyou to our fantastic and accommodating host, Alana. We look forward to visiting again soon.
My wife, two young kids and small dog attended Singleton’s retreat and we couldn’t be more happy with the stay.
Authentic cottage with all the comforts of a well set-up bed and breakfast at your fingertips, whilst situated in the picturesque national park and overlooking the Hawkesbury river. There were games for the kids, both indoor and outdoor activities…and then followed by a glass of wine overlooking the sunset. A Short drive into Wisemans Ferry if you want to explore the town. (or a good pub lunch).
Very warm and relaxing. We all enjoyed our stay and cannot wait until we return.
Fabulous Family location
We took our teenage kids and dog with us to this lovely secluded location. Completely relaxing, no stress with beautiful scenery and solitude.
We stayed for 8 nights and loved every moment! When we arrived the house was cosy warm and smelling of Fresia flowers! Our two dogs loved sleeping on the veranda, our family (and friends with baby) loved relaxing with a magnificent view of the Hawkesbury river, lying on the lawn or playing badminton, and exploring this great property and surrounds on walks and drives. The house has all comforts & luxuries (incl foldable kid’s cot)- yet with so much character, history and such a great location it makes it perfect for a recharging holiday! Definitely planning to come back!
Stunning vistas every way you look
We had the most lovely time. It is such an unpretentious, but comfortable and charming home. Everything had been thought of and we really found it unnecessary to drag ourselves away from the verandah most days. It was just such a joy to look out on the river from our vantage points.
The dogs loved it too. A very happy place for them. We will definitely be back.
